Send custom ARRI Hi-5 .rng files straight from the ARRI ECS Sync app to RingThing, or import them from your phone or cloud drive.

Give them a longer name and add notes so you can remember why they are useful. Share them with anyone.

Prefer something off-the-shelf? RingThing ships with the default Hi-5 ring files built in — standard, left-handed and reversed, in both imperial and metric variants.

Using a WCU-4? RingThing shows you the pre-marked rings that are compatible so you can create your own versions.

Import a Lens Data Archive and RingThing generates focus, iris, and zoom ring scales straight from the calibration data — no more marking rings by hand if you don't want to.

Make the design your own

Choose an existing theme or use one as a starting point for customisation.

Build rich, complex backgrounds for your ring themes by picking a seed colour and a pattern — RingThing handles the rest.

Generated patterns automatically maintain a readable contrast ratio with the label colour you've chosen, so your marks stay legible on set.

Send to cutting machines

Cutting ring labels by hand is tedious. RingThing is designed to work with cutting machines, such as the Cricut range. We include a dimensioned A4 bounding box on export to help you ensure the scale is correct.

When applying your custom label to a blank smart ring, the alignment hole makes sure your marks end up exactly where they should.

Just drop a 1.5 mm dowel pin (or the non-cutting end of a drill bit of the same size) through the hole in the Hi-5 ring and line it up — no guesswork.
